Well the Bluebelle Nursery side of the business is picking up. We started with a Polly tunnel which brought on the plants lovely. Now we have moved all the plants to a purpose built greenhouse and cold frame.
Claire Bradshaw writes a blog about UK property, and she has just done a story which crossed over into the gardening and landscaping world.
Our site ran a survey with Populus of 1000+ people into hidden factors that might ruin a property deal and 42% said that they would reduce their offer price if they saw a messy or overgrown garden (15% would reduce by a few thousand pounds). Basically, to me it seemed like a very good argument for getting your garden sorted out if you are planning on selling your house! Here's the link http://www.sellingup.com/property-buying-dealbreakers-survey Well the summer has just flown by and we are now quickly coming into November, so Maintenance work will slowly be finished for the winter. We are starting a new project to run hand in hand with our maintenance side. Bluebelle Nursery Plants. Providing you with quality bedding plants and bulbs. Growing the winter bedding plants has already commenced. We will also be selling the Bluebelle 'Bulb Lasagne' pot, this is a planter filled with bulbs that will give you colour through the winter into the start of spring and early summer, ready for the summer plants to arrive. And eventually we hope to be able to supply our plants by mail order at a competitive price, so watch this space.

Its a bit difficult trying to keep up a blog, when the weather puts you slightly behind with your jobs, and you have to catch up. Thats exactly what I am doing at the moment
It's been a very busy week bringing peoples out door spaces back to life ready for the summer. the weather has been great, so I have been able to get a lot done.
A good time to feed the lawn with a good High nitrogen fertilizer- (after scarifying) is April, and then it is ready for the first lawn cut, Set your blades high to start with and lower as the spring and summer progresses.
